Gang With Me was his first chart-topping single, followed by the album Finer Things. The song was written during his time in prison. It became his most popular single, and millions of people watched the video on YouTube. It brought him to the forefront. Then, record labels were showing an interest in his work. The rapper finally signed a distribution deal to Columbia Records and released Pop Out with Lil Tjay. The song was viewed thousands of views on YouTube, and it reached number 22 in the Billboard Hot 100. This is the first time the rapper has charted a track. Polo G was a YouTube sensation and gained a good amount of fame via other social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
