Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before making her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her adversaries in the very first round of all fights. She then returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking her revenge on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her by unanimity to create the blemish on Aspen's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. Invicta Fc 16 represented her first bout as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission at the end of the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities defeated McGill in the first round, and she was able to end her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She took on Hoy in her catchweight (138.1lb), because Ladd had not made the weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she ended her fight with a TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She continued her dominance with a stunning win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round and was awarded the evening bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in another rematch in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. The match was Ladd's first fight in a major tournament. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received each the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. After a break of a few seconds after which she returned to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. Her most recent bout for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
