Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. After her kickboxing and boxing lessons, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she was able to make her debut as an amateur against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd went on to improve upon her win in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. This left a mark on the amateur record of Ladd. Ladd rebounded from her loss through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move to the weight class of Bantamweight following the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities defeated McGill as she managed to finish her third round via TKO (elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd fell short of weight. Aspen defeated Hoy before putting her down at the end of round two via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she defeated her opponent in her final bout with the promotion by unanimous decision. Her UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 where she faced Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. In her next fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger within the first ten seconds she was awarded a bonus for her performance on the evening. Her debut fight was during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision, and the Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough to end her win streak. Then she bounced back to win Yana Kunitskaya after the third round on UFC at ESPN 7. For a rematch, she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Dumont was defeated in a unanimous decision.
