Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's experience in combat sport began when she was just 14 years old. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before making her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to build on her victory and then went on to a three-fight win streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in all the fights. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and prevailed over her with a the unanimous decision, which put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her score to eight-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta 16 saw her rise to the weight class of Bantamweight following her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities took down McGill in the first round, and she was able to end her fight in the third round through TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. But, Aspen was able to outclass Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. In her last fight for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina using ground and pound to win by TKO in the 2nd round. In her next fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Her debut fight was during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters earning one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16 seconds to end her win streak. In the third round of UFC broadcast on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a rematch, she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
