Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began at 14 years old. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She dominated all her competitors in the initial round. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia is superior to Aspen who beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's records as an amateur were marred. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, beating Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won her fight in the opening round by TKO. Her next bout was a win with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen took on McGill in her wrestling, and eventually defeated her in the third round with a TKO. Aspen had to face Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy as her catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd had not made weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she finished her with a TKO. In her last bout for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 in which she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina as she used a combination of ground and pound to take the win via TKO in the second round. The dominance of her continued, and she was able to win a thrilling fight in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger in the opening round as well as a win of the night's bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters earned each the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round on UFC on ESPN 7. In her place, she defeated Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
