Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began when she was just 14 years old. Aspen Ladd had training in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd continued to build on her win on the night of Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. Then, she returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen through a unanimous decision. This put a stain on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss, and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen's formidable wrestling ability was able to take down McGill as she managed to finish her in the third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy as an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) as Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to the point that she knocked her down with a KO. At Invicta FC 21, she had her final event for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina and ground-and-pounded her to score a second-round TKO victory. She continued to dominate and was able to win a thrilling fight during her next fight against Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. Her debut fight was with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision, and her Fight of the Night award came to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her record of wins. At the end of round three on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She was replaced by defeated Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was an unanimous decision.
