Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's experience in combat sport began when she was just 14 years old. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd kept building on her win at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her opponents in the first round. She then went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and prevailed over her with a an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills has smashed McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last match for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to defeat her by TKO in the second-round. Her dominance grew and she scored an impressive win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and was awarded a Performance of the Night prize. The first big fight she fought in was during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were a close fight that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters earned the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak within just 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. The last time she fought for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a substitute fight. The UFC Fight Night 195 fight was decided unanimously in her favor.
