Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports around the teenager age. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her professional debut at 18 in WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She knocked out all her opponents during the opening round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia is superior to Aspen, and beat Cynthia by a majority vote. Cynthia's amateur record was destroyed. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. Aspen joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill before ending her bout with the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy as a catchweight (138.1lb), because Ladd did not make an appearance at the weigh-in. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she knocked her down with a KO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her final match for the company. She beat Sijaraebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to take the win via TKO in the 2nd round. She remained dominant and racked up an impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the first round. She also received a performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. They fought in a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. Following a brief break before returning to take on Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. The last time she fought for the UFC she faced Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. Her loss was an unanimous decision.
